बेटी बनकर, दामाद बनकर, और बहु बनकर कौन आता है ? जिसका तुम्हारे साथ कर्मों का लेना देना होता है। लेना देना नहीं होगा तो नहीं आयेगा।
एक फौजी था। उसके मां बाप नहीं थे। शादी नहीं की,बच्चे नहीं ,भाई नहीं, बहन नहीं, अकेला ही कमा कमा के फौज में जमा करता जा रहा था। थोड़े दिन में एक सेठ जी जो फौज में माल सप्लाई करते थे उनसे उनका परिचय हो गया और दोस्ती हो गई । सेठ जी ने कहा जो तुम्हारे पास पैसा है वो उतने के उतने ही पड़ा हैं ।तुम मुझे दे दो मैं कारोबार में लगा दूं तो पैसे से पैसा बढ़ जायेगा इसलिए तुम मुझे दे दो।
फौजी ने सेठ जी को पैसा दे दिया।
सेठ जी ने कारोबार में लगा दिया। कारोबार उनका चमक गया, खूब कमाई होने लगी कारोबार बढ़ गया। थोड़े ही दिन में लड़ाई छिड़ गई।
लड़ाई में फौजी घोड़ी पर चढ़कर लड़ने गया। घोड़ी इतनी बदतमीज थी कि जितनी ज़ोर- ज़ोर से लगाम खींचे उतनी ही तेज़ भागे। खीेंचते खींचते उसके गल्फर तक कट गये लेकिन वो दौड़कर दुश्मनों के गोल घेरे में जाकर खड़ी हो गई। दुश्मनों ने एक ही वार किया,और फौजी मर गया घोड़ी भी मर गई।
अब सेठ जी को मालूम हुआ कि फौजी मर गया, तो सेठ जी बहुत खुश हुए कि उसका कोई उतराधिकारी तो है नहीं अब ये पैसा किसीको नही देना पड़ेगा। अब मेरे पास पैसा भी हो गया कारोबार भी चमक गया लेने वाला भी नहीं रहा तो सेठ जी बहुत खुश हुए। कुछ ही दिन के बाद सेठ जी के घर में लड़का पैदा हो गया अब सेठ जी और खुश कि भगवान की बड़ी दया है। खूब पैसा भी हो गया कारोबार भी हो गया लड़का भी हो गया लेने वाला भी मर गया, सेठ जी बहुत खुश हुए। वो लड़का होशियार था पढ़ने में समझदार था।
सेठ जी ने उसे पढ़ाया लिखाया जब वह पढ़ लिखकर बड़ा हो गया तो सोचा कि अब ये कारोबार सम्हाल लेगा चलो अब इसकी शादी कर दें।
शादी करते ही घर में बहुरानी आ गई। अब उसने सोचा कि चलो बच्चे की शादी हो गई अब कारोबार सम्हाल लेगा। लेकिन कुछ दिन में बच्चे की तबियत खराब हो गई। अब सेठ जी डाॅक्टर के पास हकीम के पास वैद्य के पास दौड़ रहे हैं। वैद्य जी जो भी दवा खिला रहे हैं वह दवा असर नहीं कर रही ,बीमारी बढ़ती ही जा रही। पैसा बरबाद हो रहा है और बीमारी बढ़ती ही जा रही है रोग कट नहीं रहा पैसा खूब लग रहा है।
अन्त में डाॅक्टर ने कह दिया कि मर्ज़ लाइलाज हो गया।इसको अब असाध्य रोग हो गया ये बच्चा दो दिन में मर जायेगा। डाॅक्टरों के जवाब देने पर सेठ जी निराश होकर बच्चे को लेकर रोते हुए आ रहे थे रास्ते में एक आदमी मिला। कहा अरे सेठ जी क्या हुआ बहुत दुखी लग रहे हो सेठ जी ने कहा ये बच्चा जवान था हमने सोचा बुढ़ापे में मदद करेगा।
अब ये बीमार हो गया।बीमार होते ही हमने इसके इलाज के लिये खूब पैसा खर्च किया जिसने जितना मांगा उतना दिया लेकिन आज डाॅक्टरों ने जवाब दे दिया अब ये बचेगा नहीं। असाध्य रोग हो गया लाइलाज मर्ज़ है। अब ले जाओ घर दो दिन में मर जायेगा। आदमी ने कहा अरे सेठ जी तुम क्यों दिल छोटा कर रहे हो। मेरे पड़ोस में वैद्य जी दवा देते हैं। दो आने की पुड़िया खाकर मुर्दा भी उठकर खड़ा हो जाता है। जल्दी से तुम वैद्य जी की दवा ले आओ।
सेठ जी दौड़कर गये दो आने की पुड़िया ले आये और पैसा दे दिया। दवाई की पुड़िया बच्चे को खिलाई बच्चा पुड़िया खाते ही मर गया। अब सेठ जी रो रहे हैं, सेठानी भी रो रही और घर में बहुरानी और पूरा गांव भी रो रहा । गांव में शोर मच गया कि बहुरानी की कमर जवानी में टूट गई सब लोग रो रहे हैं। तब तक एक महात्मा जी आ गये।
उन्होनें कहा भाई ये रोना धोना क्यों हैं। लोग बोले इस सेठ का एक ही जवान लड़का था वो भी मर गया, इसलिए सब लोग रो रहे हैं। सब दुखी हो रहे हैं। महात्मा बोले सेठ जी रोना क्यों ?
सेठ : महाराज जिसका जवान बेटा मर जाये वो रोयेगा नहीं तो क्या करेगा। ?
महात्मा:- तो आपको क्यों रोना।
सेठ:- मेरा बेटा मरा तो और किसको रोना।
महात्मा :- उस दिन तो आप बड़े खुश थे।
सेठ : किस दिन
महात्मा:- फौजी ने जिस दिन पैसा दिया था।
सेठ : हाँ कारोबार के लिए पैसा मिला था तो खुशी तो थी।
महात्मा:- और उस दिन तो आपकी खुशी का ठिकाना ही नहीं था।
सेठ : किस दिन ?
महात्मा : अरे जिस दिन फौजी मर गया सोचा कि अब तो पैसा भी नहीं देना पड़ेगा। माल बहुत हो गया कारोबार खूब चमक गया अब देना भी नहीं पड़ेगा बहुत खुश थे।
सेठ : हां महाराज खुश तो था।
महात्मा:- और उस दिन तो आपकी खुशी का ठिकाना ही न था पता नहीं कितनी मिठाईयां बँट गईं।
सेठ : किस दिन ?
महात्मा : अरे जिस दिन लड़का पैदा हुआ था।
सेठ : महाराज लड़का पैदा होता है तो सब खुश होते हैं मैं भी हो गया तो क्या बात। ?
महात्मा : उस दिन तो खुशी से आपके पैर ज़मीन पर नहीं पड़ते थे ।
सेठ : किस दिन ?
महात्मा : अरे जिस दिन बेटा ब्याहने जा रहे थे।
सेठ : महाराज बेटा ब्याहने जाता है तो हर आदमी खुश होता है तो मैं भी खुश हो गया।
महात्मा:- तो जब इतनी बार खुश हो गए तो ज़रा सी बात के लिए रो क्यों रहे हो। ?
सेठ : महाराज ये ज़रा सी बात है। जवान बेटा मर गया ये ज़रा सी बात है।
महात्मा : अरे सेठ जी वहीं फौजी पैसा लेने के लिए बेटा बन कर आ गया। पढ़ने में लिखने में खाने में पहनने में और शौक मेें श्रृंगार में जितना लगाना था लगाया। शादी ब्याह में सब लग गया। और ब्याज दर ब्याज लगाकर डाक्टरों को दिलवा दिया। अब जब दो आने पैसे बच गये वो भी वैद्य जी को दिलवा दिये और पुड़िया खाकर चल दिया। अब कर्मो का लेना देना पूरा हुआ।
सेठ जी ने कहा हमारे साथ तो कर्मो का लेन देन था। चलो हमारे साथ तो जो हुआ सो हुआ। लेकिन वो जवान बहुरानी घर में रो रही है जवानी में उसको धोखा देकर विधवा बनाकर चला गया उसका क्या जुर्म था कि उसके साथ ऐसा गुनाह किया। ? महात्मा बोले यह वही घोड़ी है। जिसने जवानी में उसको धोखा दिया। इसने भी जवानी में उसको धोखा दे दिया।
यही कहानी हम सभी की है, जो हमने बोया था वही हमें मिल रहा है। इसलिए किसी को दोष मत देना, दोषी मत देखना, हमारा ही स्वयं का दोष है। इन्द्रियों की हर क्रिया मे और मन के विकल्पों के बहते प्रवाह के काल मे उसके मात्र ज्ञाता दृष्टा रहकर अपने स्वभाव मे रहने का पुरुषार्थ करना ही हमारा एकमात्र कर्तव्य है।आगम, वेद, शास्त्र व पुराणों के साथ साथ सभी साधु संतों का कहना है कि यह संसार कर्मों का लेखा जोखा है इसमें जो जीव चैतन्य (आत्मा) के, स्वयं के स्वरूप, स्वभाव को जान लेगा वो समझदारी से भव सागर पार हो जाएगा।
Who comes as a son, as a daughter, as a son-in-law, or as a daughter-in-law? Which has to do with your karma. If there is no connection then he will not come.
There was a soldier. He had no parents. Not married, not having children, not having any brother or sister, he was alone and was saving whatever he earned for the army. Within a few days, he got acquainted with a Seth ji who used to supply goods to the army and became friends. Seth ji said, whatever money you have, it is just lying around. If you give it to me, I will invest it in business and the money will increase, so give it to me.
The soldier gave the money to Seth ji.
Seth ji started his business. His business flourished, he started earning a lot and his business increased. Within a few days a fight broke out.
In the battle, the soldier went to fight riding on a mare. The mare was so unruly that the harder you pulled the reins, the faster she ran. While pulling, even her collar was cut but she ran and stood in the circle of the enemies. The enemies attacked with a single attack, and the soldier died and the mare also died.
Now Seth ji came to know that the soldier has died, then Seth ji was very happy that he has no heir, now he will not have to give this money to anyone. Now I have money, my business has flourished and there is no one to take it, so Seth ji was very happy. After a few days, a boy was born in Seth jis house. Now Seth ji is happy that God has great mercy. A lot of money was done, the business was done, the boy was also done, the one who took it also died, Seth ji was very happy. That boy was smart and intelligent in studies.
Seth ji taught him and when he grew up after getting education, he thought that now he will take care of the business, lets get him married.
As soon as the marriage took place, a daughter-in-law came into the house. Now he thought, now that the child is married, he will take care of the business. But within a few days the childs health deteriorated. Now Seth ji is running to the doctor, to the hakim, to the vaidya. Whatever medicine Vaidya ji is giving, it is not working and the disease is increasing. Money is being wasted and the disease is increasing. The disease is not being cured. Money is being spent in abundance.
At last the doctor said that the disease has become incurable. Now this child has an incurable disease and will die in two days. When the doctors replied, Seth ji was coming crying with the child in despair. He met a man on the way. Said, Hey Seth ji, what happened, you look very sad. Seth ji said, this child was young, we thought it would help in old age.
Now he became ill. As soon as he fell ill, we spent a lot of money for his treatment and gave him as much as he asked for, but today the doctors replied that now he will not survive. The incurable disease has become an incurable disease. Now take him home, he will die in two days. The man said, “Hey Seth ji, why are you feeling small?” Vaidya ji gives medicine in my neighbourhood. Even a dead person gets up after eating a two anna pudiya. Quickly bring the medicine from Vaidya ji.
Seth ji ran and brought a bundle of two annas and gave the money. A packet of medicine was fed to the child and the child died as soon as he consumed the packet. Now Seth ji is crying, Sethani is also crying and the daughter-in-law at home and the entire village is also crying. There was an uproar in the village that Bahuranis back was broken in her youth, everyone was crying. By then a Mahatma ji arrived.
He said, “Brother, why are you crying so much?” People said that this Seth had only one young son and he also died, that is why everyone is crying. Everyone is feeling sad. Mahatma said Seth ji why crying?
Seth: Maharaj, if a young son dies, he will not cry, otherwise what will he do? ,
Mahatma:- Then why should you cry?
Seth:- If my son dies then who else will cry?
Mahatma:- You were very happy that day.
Seth: Which day?
Mahatma:- The day the soldier gave the money.
Seth: Yes, I was happy to get money for the business.
Mahatma:- And that day there was no limit to your happiness.
Seth: On which day?
Mahatma: Hey, the day the soldier died I thought that now I wont even have to pay money. There was a lot of goods, the business was very bright, now we dont even have to give anything, we were very happy.
Seth: Yes Maharaj was happy.
Mahatma:- And that day there was no limit to your happiness, I dont know how many sweets were distributed.
Seth: On which day?
Mahatma: Hey, the day the boy was born.
Seth: Maharaj, when a boy is born, everyone becomes happy, so what if I am also born? ,
Mahatma: That day your feet did not touch the ground with happiness.
Seth: On which day?
Mahatma: Hey, the day my son was going to get married.
Seth: When my son goes to get married, every person is happy, so I also became happy.
Mahatma:- So when you have become happy so many times then why are you crying over a small thing? ,
Seth: Maharaj, this is a small thing. It is a small thing that a young son has died.
Mahatma: Hey Seth ji, the same soldier has come posing as a son to take money. I put in as much as I could in reading, writing, eating, wearing and in hobbies and make-up. Everything went into the marriage. And got it paid to the doctors by charging interest rate. Now when two annas were left, he got that money given to Vaidya ji and after eating the pudiya, he left. Now the exchange of deeds is complete.
Seth ji said that there was a transaction of karma with us. Come on, whatever happened to us happened. But that young bride is crying at home. In her youth, he cheated her and made her a widow. What was his crime that he committed such a crime with her? , Mahatma said, this is the same mare. Who betrayed him in his youth. He also betrayed her in his youth.
This is the story of all of us, we are getting what we sowed. Therefore, do not blame anyone, do not look guilty, it is our own fault. Our only duty is to make effort to remain in our nature by being a mere knower and observer in every action of the senses and in the flowing flow of choices of the mind. Along with the Agamas, Vedas, Shastras and Puranas, all the sages and saints say that This world is an account of deeds. In this, the living being who knows the consciousness (soul), his own form and nature, will cross the ocean of existence with wisdom. |
