उत्तर - मन तीन प्रकार का होता है - पिण्डी मन, ब्रह्माण्डी मन तथा निज मन । पिण्डी मन शरीर में तीसरे तिल के नीचे वाले भाग में काम करता है | इसकी वासनायें मलिन होती हैं तथा इसकी प्रवृत्ति बाहरमुखी और नीचे की ओर होती है । इसका सम्बन्ध इन्द्वियों के साथ होता है । आत्मा का इसके साथ गहरा सम्बन्ध होने से आत्मा नीचे आ जाती है और मैली हो जाती है ।
ब्रह्माण्डी मन की इच्छायें अच्छी होती हैं और इसकी प्रवृत्ति अन्तर्मुखी और ऊपर की और होने के कारण यह आत्मा को ऊपर उठने में सहायता देता है तथा यह ब्रह्माण्ड में काम करता है । निज मन दूसरे पद यानी त्रिकुटी का एक कतरा है और इसके अन्दर त्रिकुटी के नीचे की समस्त रचना का बीज है । सत्संगी को इन तीनों मन पर विजय प्राप्त करनी पड़ती है तभी ऊपर आगे का रास्ता साफ होगा |
Swami ji! How many types of mind are there?
Answer: There are three types of mind – Pindi mind, cosmic mind and personal mind. Pindi Mana works in the part below the third mole in the body. Its desires are impure and its tendency is outward and downwards. It is related to the senses. Due to the deep connection of the soul with it, the soul comes down and becomes dirty.
The desires of the cosmic mind are good and because of its tendency to be introverted and upward, it helps the soul to rise up and it works in the universe. One s own mind is a strand of the second pada i.e. Trikuti and within it is the seed of the entire creation below Trikuti. A satsangi has to conquer these three minds, only then the path forward will be clear. |
