उत्तर:- मूर्ति पूजा जड़ पूजा है। सन्तमत में चेतन की पूजा होती है। चेतन आत्मा यदि जड़ की पूजा करेगी तो जड़ योनियों में चली जाएगी। फोटो जड़ है। दोनों आंखों के पीछे गुरु बैठा हुआ है और जो चेतन है। चेतन से चेतन की पूजा होनी चाहिए। फोटो बोल नहीं सकती | गुरु अन्तर में बोलता है, बातें करता है, जो पूछा जाय उसका जवाब देता है और स्वर्ग बैकुण्ठ आंदि ऊपर के लोकों में जगह-२ पर मार्ग दर्शन करता है। स्वरूप यही होता है जो मानव शरीर का है।
फर्क इतना है यहां का शरीर पांच तत्वों का है और उधर.का शरीर सूक्ष्म तत्वों का होता है। इसलिए आंखों के ऊपर चेतन गुरु की पूजा होती है; आरती की जाती है। मृत्यु के समय सत्संगी के पास यमदूत नहीं आते गुरु स्वयं आता है और इस प्रकार जो बिना किसी तकलीफ के खुशी खुशी शरीर त्याग देता है। भारत में मूर्ति पूजा का बहुत प्रचार है किन्तु सनतों ने इसका खण्डन किया है। चेतन होकर जड़ की पूजा करना उचित नहीं है तब चारों तरफ परमात्मा दिखाई देता है। बीमारी आ गई और तुम्हें बहुत तकलीफ है।
इस ' दुःख की घड़ी को गनीमत समझो क्योंकि दुःख की घड़ी बेहतर है क्योंकि इसमें मालिक याद आता है। कर्मानुसार दुःख आता है यों ही नहीं आता | इसलिए दुःख में घबड़ाना नहीं चाहिए । मालिक की दया से तकलीफ थोड़े समय में कट जाएगी । रुपये में चार आने भुगताया जाता है फिर भी तुम अधीर हो उठते हो। अपना ध्यान.बराबर ऊपर की तरफ रखो जहां मालिक बैठा हुआ तुम्हें हर क्षण देख रहा है।
भजन, ध्यान सुमिरन किसी भी हालत में छोड़ना नहीं चाहिए भले ही तुम लेट कर करो या बैठकर करो । जो तुम्हारा हथियार है कर्मों को साफ करने का उसे ही तुम अलग कर देते हो तो देर तो लगेगी ही। सत्संग के वचनों को हमेशा याद करते रहना चाहिए।
Question:- Swami ji! Should Guru's photo be worshiped or not?
Answer:- Idol worship is root worship. Chetan is worshiped in Santmat. If the conscious soul worships the roots, the roots will go into various forms. The photo is inert. Guru is sitting behind both the eyes and is conscious. The conscious should be worshiped by the conscious. Photo cannot speak. Guru speaks from within, talks, answers whatever is asked and guides to various places in heaven, Vaikuntha and the upper worlds. This is the form which the human body has.
The difference is that the body here is of five elements and the body there is of subtle elements. That is why Chetan Guru is worshiped above the eyes; Aarti is performed. At the time of death, messengers do not come to the Satsangi, the Guru himself comes and thus the one who leaves the body happily without any trouble. There is a lot of promotion of idol worship in India but the saints have refuted it. It is not appropriate to worship matter while being conscious, then God is visible all around. Illness has come and you are in a lot of trouble.
Consider this time of sorrow as a blessing because the time of sorrow is better because in it the Master is remembered. Sorrow comes according to karma, it does not come just like that. Therefore one should not panic in sorrow. By the mercy of the Lord the suffering will be over in a short time. You are paid four annas in rupees and yet you become impatient. Keep your attention always upwards where the Master is sitting watching you every moment.
Bhajan, meditation and remembrance should not be abandoned under any circumstances, whether you do it lying down or sitting. If you put aside the weapon which is yours to cleanse your karma then it will take time. One should always remember the words of satsang. |
