उत्तर - जो गुरु का आदेश हो उसका पालन करना ही गुरु की सेवा है । इसी को गुरु भक्ति कहते हैं । धन की सेवा करो और समझो कि गुरु प्रसन्न हो गए तो ऐसी बात नहीं है । नाशवान वस्तुओं को देकर गुरु की प्रसन्नता नहीं हासिल की जा सकती । वचन का पालन करो और भजन करो तो ये आत्मिक सेवा है और उत्तम सेवा है ।
ऐसा करने से गुरु की दया तुम पर बरसेगी और जीवात्मा अन्धेरे से निकलकर प्रकाश में खड़ी हो जाएगी, उसकी आंख खुल जाएगी और गुरु का दिव्य स्वरूप अन्तर में प्रकट हो जाएगा । इसलिए सबसे पहले तुम यही सेवा करो कि गुरु के आदेश का पालन करो | जो भी हुक्म हो उसे सिर माथे रखकर अपना कर्तव्य निभाओ । सेवा प्यार और लगन के साथ होनी चाहिए दिखावटी सेवा से तुम्हें कुछ भी मिलने वाला नहीं ।
Question:- Swami ji! How should one serve the Guru?
Answer: To follow the orders of the Guru is to serve the Guru. This is called Guru Bhakti. Serve money and understand that it is not so if the Guru is pleased. Guru s happiness cannot be achieved by giving perishable things. If you follow the word and do bhajan then this is spiritual service and the best service.
By doing this, the Guru s mercy will shower upon you and the soul will come out of the darkness and stand in the light, its eyes will open and the divine form of the Guru will be revealed within. Therefore, the first thing you should do is to follow the orders of the Guru. Whatever the order is, do your duty by keeping it in mind. Service should be done with love and dedication; you will not get anything from superficial service. |
